- Review each policy's daily / weekly / monthly / yearly retention vs your compliance + recovery requirements.
- Edit each policy down to the minimum that still meets the requirement (e.g. 30-day daily, 12-week weekly, 12-month monthly).
- Save. The vault will prune older recovery points beyond the new window over the next backup cycles.
