Read the activity

CloudTrail on AWS, Cloud Logging on Google Cloud and the Activity Log on Azure record who did what. ZopNight reads the caller on every event.

Resolve the person

AWS role sessions and SSO users, Azure caller IDs and Google principal emails are resolved to a real identity, not left as an identifier.

Name creator and editor

The earliest human caller is the creator; the latest is the last person to change it. Automation is kept apart from people.

Check they are still here

A daily sync of your IAM, SSO, Azure AD and Google Workspace members marks each owner Active or Departed. Where there is no identity data, it says Unknown.

Honest about what it knows.

A confident wrong owner is worse than an honest unknown.

People, not pipelines
The owner is the earliest human caller, so a deployment pipeline does not end up owning everything it ships.
Status
Active if the person is still in your identity directory, Departed if not, and Unknown when there is no identity data to check. Never a guess.
Where it shows
On every resource's detail panel, with the operation and time of its creation and its most recent change. Owners appear by the next day, because the activity sync runs daily.
