- Confirm zero ingest + zero query activity over the last 7+ days (CloudWatch: SystemErrors / UserErrors / SuccessfulRequestLatency).
- Export historical data to S3 via UNLOAD or scheduled query if you may need rehydration.
- Open Timestream → Databases → select → delete each table → delete the database.
- Type the database name to confirm.
- Validate billing drop 24h later.
