- SageMaker → Notebook instances / Endpoints → the resource → Monitor. Confirm CloudWatch InvocationsPerInstance / CPUUtilization is flat.
- For Notebook instances: Actions → Stop, then download any /home/ec2-user/SageMaker artefacts you need. Actions → Delete once safe.
- For Endpoints: identify caller services (CloudTrail InvokeEndpoint events) and cut them over to direct model.invoke (Bedrock) or a smaller endpoint.
- SageMaker → Endpoints → Actions → Delete.
- Clean up endpoint configurations + unused models that backed the endpoint.
- Consider migrating notebooks to SageMaker Studio (auto-shutdown built in) for future workloads.
