- CloudTrail / CloudWatch → search for Retrieve / RetrieveAndGenerate calls targeting KB the resource over the past 30 days.
- Identify the underlying vector store (Aurora pgvector / OpenSearch Serverless / Pinecone). It continues to bill independently.
- If no application or Bedrock Agent depends on this KB, export the source S3 documents you may want to re-ingest later.
- Bedrock → Knowledge bases → the resource → Delete.
- Then delete the underlying vector store (OpenSearch Serverless collection, Aurora cluster, or Pinecone index). That is the dominant cost.
