- Open Portal → Azure Cache for Redis → the resource → Metrics → Connected Clients, confirm the 30-day flat-zero reading.
- If the cache is intentionally dormant, export the keyspace via Export data (Premium tier) to a Storage Account.
- Open Overview → Delete. Confirm the cache name to release the SKU charge.
- Verify no application connection strings reference this cache.
