FOCUS

The FinOps Open Cost and Usage Specification: an open standard, published by the FinOps Foundation, that gives every cloud's billing data the same column names and meanings. It lets one report compare AWS, Azure and GCP costs directly. Why it matters: A shared format makes multi-cloud cost data comparable without custom mapping for each provider.
